Motivation vs. Time vs. Studying

As you probably might have noticed, I haven't been that active when it comes to writing about my MOOC experience. It's not that I haven't been active - I have! Or I was... In the beginning, that is. At first I felt very excited: to be able to participate in a MOOC! To be able to develop the creative mindset! And then I just didn't have the time to watch the videos and to do the experiments - and to write about it.

However, there's still time. The material will stay open for some time and I still have time to take the final missing quizzes. So I might have something to report to you after a couple of weeks. Stay tuned.

Creative style and Life Circle

I took a test that revealed my creative style. It said that I'm mildly innovative. At first I was a bit disappointed: me, mildly something? I'm all 100% in or out! But the explanation said that people who are mildly either way (either innovative or adaptive) may be comfortable in both columns. So both of my brain halves took a deep sigh of relief. I'm normal. I'm like the majority. It's good.

Also, this week I finally had the time to think about a project that was to be done for week 1. The task was to draw one's Life Ring (or Circle as I named it). The task description said that we were to put the primary driving force behind all of our decisions in the middle. In my case it was... me. At this point (when it's Friday night) I couldn't think of any other driving force, so let my life circle be organised around me, myself and I. Isn't life all about opening one's own coconuts and pursuing one's own happiness? Preferably with people you want to be with?

Here we go again..!

Here we go again: I'm activating this blog again just to create a place where I can experience the inner circles of my souls when it comes to studying a MOOC. The course called Creativity, Innovation and Change started a week ago and during 8 weeks I'm supposed to "CIC" it in, rock on and then log off.

This time I'm studying in English so I thought it would be best to use English language as a tool for this blog, too.

The first week started off with some video lessons. I watched them and did some sketchnoting. I originally posted my sketchnote in my other blog, http://visualisointi.wordpress.com, but here's the sketchnote for You, my dear study diary, too:

The last words in my previous blog post were: "...I'm not going to do any studying for some time." But now I am. So here we go again..!
